As a small Southern Baptist Church we found ourselves like many others; plateaued, stagnant, and dying. The IgniteUS process has breathed new life into a congregation that was just several years from dying. “The Process” is tailored to where and who we are and has thus been well accepted by almost everyone. As of this date (Feb. 2004), we are only several months into the IgniteUs leadership development process, we are not any bigger in size, but we are healthier and better, and our future is much brighter. I believe that what we are doing and becoming honors God and His kingdom.

I've been blessed to be the pastor of a traditional mainline congregation that is now willing to make the necessary changes to be a disciple-making church. However, we knew from the start that without help we could easily corrupt the process in spite of our good intentions. And that is where IgniteUS has been so supportive. They have helped us identify a clear path to follow, discover God's vision, and have nurtured us as we transverse the always precarious journey of turning a church around. We're about halfway through the journey but have already seen numerical growth and, more importantly, we have seen a growing spiritual commitment to building disciples. This has been the most exciting time in my twenty-five years of pastoral ministry!
